Massey Ferguson limited is an American agricultural machinery manufacturer. The company was established in 1953 through the merger of farm equipment makers Massey-Harris of Canada and the Ferguson Company of the United Kingdom. It is now a brand owned by AGCO, an American farm machinery manufacturer. Is the world's leading tractor brand, providing the industry's most comprehensive series of agricultural tractors.

In 1847, Daniel Massey opened a workshop in Canada making farm machinery and equipment.

In 1891, Massey Company merged with Harris Company to become Massey-Harris Company.

In 1938, the company created MH NO.20, the world's first commercially viable self-propelled combine harvester, which quickly became the industry standard.

In the early 1950s, two agricultural machinery companies merged to form Massey Harris Ferguson.

In 1957, Massey Ferguson increased sales in Europe by more than 200% and expanded its combine harvester plant in Eschweg, Germany.

In 1958, Massey Ferguson's sales reached an all-time high, accounting for over 90% of all self-propelled combine harvesters in the United Kingdom.

In October 1960, Harry Ferguson died at the age of 85. With the advent of the sixties, Macey Ferguson entered its second decade. It was indeed an important decade that laid the foundation for the further development of Massey Ferguson in the 1970s.

In 1962, new combine harvester models were introduced, including the British MF400 and MF 500, and the German MF 31 and MF 86.

In 1964, opened a new combine harvester factory in Canada.

In Europe and export markets, a new line of combine harvesters designed specifically for large farms and harvesting contractors was introduced in 1970, with products including the MF 520 and MF 625.

In the late 1970s, a number of new models were introduced, including the MF1560 round baler.

1981 Steps were taken to improve the state of the product in North America. A new line of large combine harvesters was produced in Canada, including the MF 860 and MF 850 self-propelled products.

The company moved its headquarters from Canada to New York in the 1990s, marking the end of an era for Massey Ferguson. In 1994, it was acquired by Agco and is a machinery company dedicated entirely to agricultural machinery.

In 1999, Agco officially launched MF 7200 series combine harvesters.

Massey Ferguson introduced the largest combine ever, the MF 7200 Cerea, and the MF 8780 axial flow combine was added to the Massey Ferguson lineup.

In 2001, the MF 7274 was added to the Cerea Combine series, and the MF 6200 and MF 8200 series have more available features, including four-link front axle suspension and autonomous driving.

In 2008, the MF3600 series of dedicated tractors, Activa S and Centora combine harvesters were released.

In 2010, Massey Ferguson expanded its combine program with the DELTA Series of tangential and axial flow separation systems. This series of combine harvesters won the 'Machine of the Year 2010' award.
