During the operation of the tractor, flame-out often happens, which could be ascribed to many reasons and the signs appeared before flame-out vary. When the tractor has a flame-out, restarting it without identifying the cause is a big no-no because it may cause a greater accident. The reason for the flame-out of the truck are mainly as follows:
When the tractor is operating, when the external load suddenly increases and greatly exceeds the rated load of the engine, that is, when the engine is heavily overloaded, the speed of the engine will be greatly reduced, and the air volume in the cylinder will be relatively reduced. When the truck is overloaded, the diesel in the cylinder cannot be fully used. Instead, it discharges in the form of black smoke and that’s when flame-out creeps in. For example, flame-out may happen when the hydraulic device fails and causes truck suddenly gets too deep into the soil, or when the truck bumps into obstacles such as tree roots or large stones in the field, or when it is severely overloaded during transportation in the uphill, muddy or uneven road.
If fuel system fails, the truck will surely flame out. There are three reasons for such flame-out. Firstly, the fuel in the fuel tank is insufficient. Secondly, there is air, water in the oil circuit, or a damaged or blocked place that cut off the oil supply. Thirdly, the oil pump is damaged and cannot be supplied with oil. So it is necessary to do an oil pressure check before start the truck, to examine the oil pressure tank, oil pressure sensor and oil pressure gauge. Anyway, you must pay attention to oil pressure, if any oil pressure warning symptoms appear, find out the cause.
If the exhaust pipe emits black smoke and diesel engine fails at the same time, it may be that the air filter is seriously blocked, causing the cylinder to shut down for lack of air.
Put the throttle in the neutral position and crank the crankshaft. If you can hear the sound of fuel injection, it may be that the gas distribution mechanism has failed. The main reasons for this failure of the gas distribution mechanism are:
The valve spring is broken, so that the valve cannot be closed or not closed tightly.
The valve is stuck in the catheter.
The decompression mechanism is damaged, so that the cylinder is not compressed.
The air distribution camshaft and the air distribution timing gear fall off.
If the gas distribution mechanism fails, and you find abnormal sounds or abnormal exhaust smoke before the engine suddenly shuts down. At this time, you should immediately shut down the truck, restart only if the malfunction is examined, determined and repaired.
Above all, if you find any abnormality of your truck, stop the truck immediately and never restart it before you check and solve the problem.
