The Reasons that Cause High Temperature of Tractor and Harvester’s Tank

1. The Engine Overworks

The oil consumption and heating load will increase if the tractor engine has been working for a long time, which leads to the situation of high temperature of the tank. For avoiding that, it is better not to make the engine overwork.

 

 

2. Shortage of the Cooling Liquid

The heat dissipation ability of the tank is influenced by the amount of the cooling liquid in the expansion tank. The shortage of the cooling liquid will cause the temperature of the tank too high so that it is better to check the radiator and the surplus cooling liquid in the expansion tank regularly to avoid the tank was overheated.

 

 

3. Passive Mutual Interference of the Cooling Devices

If the hydraulic oil cooler and the engine radiator is installed in tandem, the hydraulic oil cooler will influence the heat dissipation effect of the engine radiator. The wind temperature of the engine radiator air intake rises along with the temperature of the hydraulic oil cooler. Thus, checking on the situation of the hydraulic heat dissipation system in time can avoiding the passive influences of the hydraulic to the engine radiator.

 

4. The Loose/transformation of the Fan Belt

If fan belt is loose or deform, the rotate speed slows down so that the fan could not reach the required speed to guarantee the original ability of heat dissipation. To avoiding this, it is a great choice to check on the situation of the fan belt timely.

 

 

5. The Shrink of the Windward Area

It is common that the engine radiator is covered by dirt, which means the heating radiating area reduced. The shrink of the windward area will weaken the heat dissipation ability of the engine radiator and make the temperature of the tank go high.

 

 

6. Poor cooling liquid circulation

The poor circulation of diesel engine’s cooling system will reduce the heat dissipation ability if the tractor thermostat is not open enough. The thermostat can be heated in the water to do the heating check. The regular thermostat can open up to 8mm to 10mm. The poor performance of the tractor water pump will reduce the quantity of cooling liquid flow and make the temperature of the engine too high. Generally speaking, the temperature differences between the upper tank and the under tank is around 6 to 12 degrees centigrade.The water pump can be changed if the temperature differences are too small. Moreover, too much scale also effects the heat dissipation efficiency of the engine radiator and reduces the capacity of the heat transmission of the cooling liquid and wind. To keep the high efficiency of heat dissipation, it is necessary to clean the engine heat dissipation system and do not use the inferior cooling liquid.
