The Process of Compression, Condensation, and Throttling of Tractor Air Conditioners

With the increase in the use of air conditioners on tractors, the problems of air conditioning in the use of tractor engine generator have become more and more prominent. Air conditioners originally increased the comfort for drivers, but the air conditioner failures of tractors has brought the troubles for drivers. The user is dissatisfied.

 

In the actual use of tractors, tractor air conditioning are mainly divided into four processes: compression, condensation, throttling, and evaporation. These four processes cyclically reciprocate, using refrigerant as the medium, and continuously s "transported" the heat to the outside of the cab, reducing the temperature of the air in the cab.

 

Here we introduce the three processes of compression, condensation, throttling in the use of tractor air conditioners, so that you can have a further understanding of tractor air conditioners.

 

1. Compression process of tractor air conditioner

The compressor is the power source of the entire tractor refrigeration system above tractor pulling chassis, which promotes the continuous circulation of refrigerant in the closed system. The power of the compressor comes from the engine, which transmits power through the leather belt. The compressor is generally installed in the front of the diesel engine, controlling the operation of the compressor through electromagnetic valve. When we turn on the air conditioner switch, the solenoid valve is activated to connect the power of the tractor engine to the compressor, thereby driving the compressor. We regard the compressor as the first station of refrigerant.

 

2. Condensation process of tractor air conditioner

The high-temperature and high-pressure gas refrigerant coming out of the compressor will enter the second station along the pipeline, that is, the condenser of the air-conditioning system. The condenser is generally a large-area aluminum plate, which is similar to the water tank of the diesel engine. It is located in front of the water tank of the diesel engine and is filled with small pipes. The main function is to shunt the refrigerant into many small pipes to fully exchange heat. The diesel tractor engine fan is used to force heat dissipation and cooling. In this process, the refrigerant radiates a large amount of heat into the air through the condenser, causing the gaseous refrigerant to condense to form a high-pressure, medium-temperature liquid refrigerant (about 50-60 ℃, 1.6MPa), this process is the condensation process of the air conditioner.

 

3. Throttling process of tractor air conditioner

After the refrigerant of the tractor air conditioner comes out of the condenser, it will enter the drying accumulator along the pipeline. After the drying accumulator absorbs moisture and filtering, it enters the third station, the expansion tractor valve of the air conditioning system. The expansion valve is also called a throttle valve. It is installed in front of the inlet of the evaporator. Its main function is to reduce the refrigerant liquid throttle by controlling the change of refrigerant flow rate, and reduce the condensation pressure to the evaporation pressure.

 

One end of the pipeline in the tractor engine valves is extremely small, and the other end of the pipeline suddenly becomes larger. Due to the small hole of the expansion valve (diameter is only about 1mm), the high-pressure and medium-temperature liquid refrigerant passes through the expansion valve, and the pressure and temperature drop sharply (about 0.3MPa, 0℃), a small amount of liquid refrigerant (about 15-20%) flashes into a gas state, and then enters the evaporator.
