The FIAT Tractor - Reliable Companion in Farming

Fiat Tractor is a brand of agricultural machinery established by Fiat Group in 1919. The company, based in Turin, Italy, is one of the world's largest tractor manufacturers. Fiat manufactures a variety of tractors, from small utility models to large industrial machines.

Fiat introduced the 702 tractor in Turin in the fall of 1918 in response to labor shortages and the difficulty of plowing barren land in post-World War I Italy.

In 1932, Fiat launched Europe's first 700C crawler tractor (35 horsepower).

In the 1940s, the lighter and cheaper Model 40 crawler tractor came on the market, and the Model 50 was used for post-war reconstruction, further cementing Fiat's leading position in the crawler tractor industry.

The Diamond series, launched in 1965-1967, introduced the concept of the tractor series. There were 6 models with 2-4 cylinder diesel engines with engine power of 20-75 HP. These were the first tractors in Europe with synchronizer transmission, differential lock and high and low power shift. At the same time launched the first generation of narrow type vineyard tractor.

The Golden Ribbon series tractors launched in 1968 and 1969, with engine power of 25-90 horsepower, adopt high and low power shift transmission, there are vineyard, orchard, mountain and middle-cultivated crop models, favored by small and medium-sized farms, the total sales of more than 110,000 units. With two lines of diamond and gold ribbons, Fiat became the leading tractor manufacturer in Europe.

In 1987, the Fiat Group introduced the world's first direct-injection diesel engine designed for passenger cars.

In 1991, the company was sold to New Holland, a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company.

It's worth noting that in 2018 New Holland launched a centennial edition of the tractor, which pays homage to history with a modern design and traditional Fiat brown red.

Today, many former Fiat Trattori models are still used around the world and the brand remains a popular choice for farmers and agricultural workers. Over its decades of history, it has established itself as the leading architectural firm in Italy and one of the largest in Europe.
