The tractor's hydraulic suspension system is divided into two types: strong pressure type and non-strong pressure type. Some users say that strong pressure is good, and some say non-strong pressure. So which type of hydraulic lifting system is better?
The tractor's hydraulic suspension system is mainly composed of three parts: a tractor oil cylinder, a gear pump, and a valve (distributor). According to the different layout and combination of the three components, it can be divided into three categories: split hydraulic system, semi-split hydraulic system and integral hydraulic system.
The split hydraulic system is the strong pressure type, which is currently the most widely used hydraulic system on medium and large horsepower tractors. The cylinders, pumps, valves and oil tanks of the system are installed in different positions of the tractor and connected with oil pipes. The split hydraulic system uses a double-acting cylinder. The hydraulic lifting handle has four positions, namely lifting, neutral, pressure drop, and float. The function of the pressure drop position is the so-called strong pressure function. The lifting, neutral and floating positions have a positioning function. After the hand is released, the joystick can be positioned at this position. The lifting position has an automatic reset function at the end of lifting.
The degreasing pump of the semi-split hydraulic suspension system is arranged separately, using a single-acting tractor engine cylinder and a non-strong pressure tractor system. Its advantages are compact structure, short oil circuit, hydraulic components, and operating mechanism are all sealed in the housing. It is easy to adjust the strength and depth of farm tools. Its shortcomings are that it is not easy to check and repair the hydraulic components, and the distributor has many failures. This hydraulic system is widely used in small and medium tractors.
The main working parts such as the tractor oil pump, distributor and tractor oil cylinder of the integrated hydraulic system are all concentrated in the rear axle housing of the tractor to form a whole. It uses a single-acting cylinder, which is a non-strong pressure system. Its advantage is that it can be used to adjust the depth of cultivation by force, position and height adjustment methods. The disadvantage is that the structure is more complicated, the volume is larger, the layout on the tractor is limited, the disassembly is more complicated, and it is currently used less.
In fact, in actual use, the pressure function is not required when working on most of the land. The use of strong pressure depends on what farming tool the tractor is equipped with. If it is a digging machine, it must be used. If it is operated with a ploughshare, rotary tiller, subsoiler, and straw returning machine, the tractor strong pressure function is not required under conventional soil. Unless it is extremely drought, soil compaction, wasteland, etc. will be used. Because the soil is very hard at this time, it is difficult for the agricultural tools to enter the soil. After using the strong pressure function, the rapid entry of the agricultural tools is obvious.
In actual use, the adjustment of the weight of the agricultural implement and the angle of soil entry can generally meet the requirements of the tractor. And the non-strong pressure system with force is more sensitive and accurate, and the operation is simpler. This is good for the maintenance of the engine and the tractor itself, and the driver's operation intensity is also less. At present, the electro-hydraulic integrated lifting control system on high-horsepower tractors is all non-strong pressure, and there is no situation in the land operation that it is difficult to enter the soil and cannot be used for cultivation. Most of the faults occurred are stuck valves caused by poor cleanliness of the hydraulic system. If the cleanliness of the oil can be guaranteed, these failures will gradually decrease.
In fact, either strong pressure or non-strong pressure, the best option is to choose according to our operational needs.
In fact, tractor manufacturers are also actively improving their products. Now most tractor manufacturers have added a manual reversing switch to the oil path of the tractor high-pressure system. A handle controls the oil flow in the upper chamber of the cylinder. When the reversing switch is turned on, oil comes from the upper chamber of the cylinder Directly returning to the tank, there is no strong pressure function, which is equivalent to a non-strong pressure system; when the reversing switch is closed, the oil in the upper chamber of the cylinder is disconnected from the tank, or the original strong pressure system is much more convenient than the original.
