How to Solve the Common Failures of Tractors

Recently, in a discussion with the front-line maintenance service personnel of the tractor service station, it was learned that the failure rate of a famous domestic brand 1204 tractor was abnormally high, and there were batch failures. The main manifestations were: the main clutch plate was burned during plowing operation, the auxiliary clutch plates are damaged in the process of rotary tillage, the oil cylinder of the lifting cylinder leaks, and the pressure distributor block tractor valve. Due to the high failure rate of the tractor engine, the user cannot use it normally. The users and dealers are quite dissatisfied, and some users even want to return the car.

 

There are many reasons for the damage to the clutch, and the common reasons are as follows:

 

One is the user operation problem. For example, it is customary to keep your feet on the clutch pedal; use half-pedal clutch to control the vehicle speed; the free travel of the clutch pedal is adjusted improperly, the gap is too small; the agricultural tool is not suitable, the agricultural tool is too large etc. So the tractor manufacturer will say that it is the user's problem, none of their business.

 

The second is the manufacturer’s design problem. The tractor clutch’s ability to transmit maximum torque is insufficient, that is, the clutch is “small”. At present, the popular small-horse high-horsepower tractors have enough engine horsepower, but the clutch itself has not been increased and strengthened in time, and the ability to transmit maximum torque is insufficient. The clutch slips and burns when the load is heavier. The methods to increase the clutch's ability to transmit maximum torque include: increasing the compression force of the disc spring, increasing the size of the friction surface, and increasing the friction coefficient of friction.

The third is the quality of the parts themselves, that is, the quality of the clutch itself. The clutches are all produced by professional manufacturers. Tractor manufacturers only assemble the purchased tractor parts together. The most commonly used high-horsepower tractors are the German LUK clutches. They have high reliability and good quality, but the price is more expensive. Domestic clutches such as Shangdong Huanghai and Zhejiang Tielu clutches are cheaper but less reliable.

 

Fourth, improper assembly adjustment and backward production technology. In the maintenance of high-horsepower tractors, it was found that some of the clutches have technical problems in the factory, such as the auxiliary clutch clearance is too small, the main and auxiliary clutch linkages, the rust in the clutch chamber, etc., the high-horsepower tractor clutch assembly and adjustment technical requirements are high. If the assembly is not in place, and the technical state of the factory is not adjusted properly, it will easily cause the situation of burning the film.

 

Let's look at the failure of the distributor again. The 1204 tractor engine uses an independent high-pressure distributor. The main failure is that the distributor valve cannot be operated, which is caused by the quality problems of the distributor itself, such as the stem and valve. The second is the poor cleanliness of the hydraulic oil which is a common problem of domestic tractors.
