Black smoke, White Smoke or Blue Smoke

1. Black smoke is caused by the incomplete combustion of the fuel, and the free carbon generated from the exhaust manifold pipe, which is caused by the bad state of the fuel supply system, air supply system, or engine compression system.

 

1) Improper adjustment of the ratio of oil and air, the position of the cylinder plunger adjustment rod joint and the oil pump rod moves, and the oil supply of the cylinder is too large. If this situation is found, the position of the cylinder plunger adjustment rod and the oil pump rod should be adjusted.

 

2) The atomization quality of the fuel injection nozzle is not high, the fuel is not completely burned, and black smoke is produced. This phenomenon is caused by the weakening or breakage of the elasticity of the fuel injection pressure regulator spring.

 

3) The fuel supply advance angle is incorrect or slightly smaller, the fuel is not burned completely and is discharged with the air pipe.

 

2. White smoke is burned without fuel, or there is too much water in the fuel, or if water leaks into the cylinder, white smoke will come out..

 

1) The temperature of the engine is too low, the fuel is discharged before it is completely burned, and the unburned fuel is white mist.

 

2) Cylinder gasket is damaged or burnt, cold water enters the cylinder, and under the action of the high temperature and high pressure of the cylinder, the cold water exits the trachea in the form of mist.

 

3) The fuel supply is not timely and cannot be completely burned. The unburned fuel is discharged from the trachea in the form of a mist.

 

4) It is the rear drop of the fuel injection nozzle, the needle valve of the fuel injection nozzle is stuck in the open position, or the pressure spring of the fuel injection nozzle is broken.

 

3. Blue smoke is caused by burning engine oil when it starts.

 

1) The taper and ellipticity of the cylinder of the compression system exceed the limit. The gap between the cylinder and the piston is too large. The gap and the side gap of the piston ring are too large. The opening of the piston ring coincides, the piston ring deposits carbon, the elasticity becomes smaller and the torsion ring Incorrect taper ring position and orientation.

Hard Engine Start

The difficulty in starting the engine is mainly caused by the fuel system, air filter, excessive oil accumulation in the combustion chamber and insufficient compression force of the cylinder.

 

1. Problems that occurs in the fuel system.

1) Diesel is used up or the fuel tank switch is not turned on

2) Air is in the oil passage, causing the oil passage to be blocked

3) Fuel line or diesel filter blocked

4) Injector does not inject oil

5) Severely worn plunger

 

2. Air filters are mainly caused by clogged air filters, exhaust pipes or silencers.

 

3. When meet with excessive oil accumulation in the combustion chamber, pull the throttle operating handle to a position where no oil is supplied, pull the pressure-reducing handle to open the valve, turn the crankshaft, and drain the engine oil.

 

4. The insufficient compression force of the cylinder is mainly because the position of the decompression handle is not correct, the cylinder head gasket is leaking, the piston ring is opposite or severely worn, and the valve is leaking.
