1) Choose a Manufacturer

When buying spare parts for harvesters, it is best to buy spare parts at local spare parts franchise or reputable agriculture machine parts companies with regular purchase channels according to the brand of your harvester. Authentic products generally have good packaging quality, complete with certificate, manufacturer name, factory address and ex-factory date. If there is no vernier caliper, the shaft diameter can be checked by the following method. Take a bearing used with the shaft diameter, align the bearing on the tested journal, press it by hand to make it fit, the force should be even, and cannot be skewed. Then judge according to the press-in situation. If it can be pressed to the installation position, it means that the outer diameter of the journal is too small, and the fit is too loose. If it cannot be fitted into the journal, when the hand is detached from the bearing, the bearing will fall off the measured journal, which means that the outer diameter of the journal is too large and the fit is too tight. The ideal fit is that the inner ring of the bearing can be pressed into the journal for a length, erect the shaft so that the bearing faces downward, and hit the upper end of the shaft with your hand, at which time the bearing will not fall off the journal.

 

When buying a harvester cutter, you should focus on checking the straightness of the knife beam and knife bar and several working gaps. The center line of the moving blade coincides with the center line of the blade guard. At this time, the gap between the front end of the moving blade and the blade guard is not more than 0.5mm, and the gap between the rear end is not more than 1.5mm. The gap between the blade presser and the moving blade is not more than 0.5mm. Push and pull the cutter by hand, there should be no stagnation. The cutter that meets the above conditions is qualified.
